Gonzalez Shah Smith provided MEP/FP engineering services for United Airlines' Global Distribution Center near George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Humble.

The 500,000-square-foot facility serves as a centralized hub for the storage, processing, and distribution of aircraft parts across United Airlines' network. Interior improvements include office space, high-piled storage racks, package processing areas, and operational spaces designed to support the airline's logistics functions.

Located approximately five miles from George Bush Intercontinental Airport, the distribution center consolidates key supply chain operations into a single facility, improving efficiency and supporting faster movement of critical parts throughout United's system.

The project represents an important component of United Airlines' continued investment in Houston, providing the infrastructure needed to support a more centralized and efficient global distribution network.
