Greehey Campus Master Plan

Gonzalez Shah Smith provided mechanical and electrical engineering services for the UT Health San Antonio Campus Master Plan.

The master planning effort focused on supporting the future growth of the university's research and clinical facilities, as well as evaluating opportunities for new student housing. Planning included the approximately 44-acre north campus expansion along Floyd Curl Drive and Hamilton Wolfe, along with potential clinical expansion near the university's existing ambulatory and hospital facilities.

GSS supported the assessment of existing mechanical and electrical infrastructure and planning for future campus utility needs. The overall master plan considered existing conditions, proposed facilities, infrastructure, transportation, parking, circulation, and phased implementation to help guide the continued development of the UT Health San Antonio campus.
